Been reading some Yu-gi-oh lately. I quite like it actually, even when it just became endless card duel after card duel... actually, I think I like it better when it became card duel after card duel, because by that point the art was better, plus it appeals to the inner Crack: The Addiction M:tG geek in me. *cough*

I miss M:tG. >_>; No one ever plays with me anymore T___T My deck's really out of date, though. And probably terrible.

But I'll, um, live vicariously through YGO card battles and not look thoughtfully in the direction of ANY OTHER collector's card games. The manga duels are probably more interesting, anyway.

...so we go to a polyclinic and it takes three hours to get her ankle wrapped. Seriously yo, /I/ could wrap her ankle. ...well, almost. At least, I'm technically /supposed/ to know how to wrap her ankle. I, however, cannot provide her prescription drugs. She should just stop walking around so much like EVERYBODY TELLS HER TO ALL THE TIME >_o;;;

But no, really, my day isn't complete until my father wakes me up at early o'clock in the morning and tells me to take my grandmother to a hospital, thank you for the heart attack dad, I'm sure I didn't need those cardiac muscles anyway.

Was supposed to go out with Aine and Jo-chan today, but was really too tired, so I told THEM to make their arrangements and tell me about it, I'm going to sleep.

Jo: Well, er, I think the arrangement is that we go out tomorrow.
Me: huh. okay.
Jo: 'cos Aine's going to sleep.
Me: what???

And I just got up, and RO is down. Maybe I'll go back to my nap.

Uhm... went MVPing more... why does it always happen in the evenings, when it lags the most? Moonlight is so camped, she STILL doesn't last more than five minutes, even in the lag and monster skills. I think today she was done in under a minute. Drake v. annoying, dammit, must kill him. Penos and mimics even more annoying. Then we did Hatii, and even though it didn't drop much, we were STILL looted from. Bah.

Also, flipped through the latest JUMP for tenipuri (dammit, i'm interested in the rikkai matches, but volume 22 is /entirely/ the ryoma/kirihara match. like, i didn't know it was that long. but it did also have the episode zero side story, so it's forgiven)--the lineup has been revealed, etc etc, we now know how the rest of the matches will go. Inui will win, Fuji will win, Ryoma will lose, Rikkai wins 3-2, and everyone is happy w00t! At least, this is how it should logically happen, because if Fuji 1) doesn't play or 2) loses, I will throw the world's biggest hissy fit. Possibly involving flying down to Japan to kick the JUMP office building. >D

If Seigaku wins, I will be very disappointed with Konomi-sensei.

Oh, and INUI HAS EYES. Like, dude. It only took 22 volumes, but finally it has been revealed.

...damn. The boy's almost hot. Well, in that shot, where you could actually see his eyes. And not his hair. >D

Someone should make mockingly-captioned fanart involving Fuji, Yanagi, and Inui. It's something that just needs to happen.

We MVPed Mistress! And it took us two hours. XD;; Sae-san turned wizard and was all "ok let's go MVP!" and so we were like "ok, let's go MVP!" and we decided to go and do Mistress, since two of us were in Aldebaran, two fields north of Mistress, anyway. XD;; When we got to the field, we decided to all split up and search. Three seconds later it was like "OMG I FOUND HER" and we all regrouped and died a lot. XD;; I lost 6% xp to her because I was a non-share support priest, Jirou at least took down her mob, and Sae-san cast spells... except he didn't have any of the earth spells we needed.. XD;

We kept adding firepower, too. First it was two wizards that we knew, then when we were trapped in a stalemate because we couldn't damage her for more than she was healing herself, one of us went to Aldebaran to recruit people, and a hunter came. XD; And even /then/, it was only when another hunter and wizard joined in that she finally died. By the middle of it, we didn't care if she dropped anything anymore, we just wanted her to DIE ALREADY PLZ KTHX XD; She kept JTing Jirou into the ground, I used all the blue pots we had and half my grape juice, and we didn't get anything much as an MVP item XD; The wiz who actually HAD an earth spell got the MVP... and his MVP item was royal jelly. XD; Still, sense of accomplishment, I guess.

Then the hunter was like "OK WE GO TURTLE ISLAND", so we went to Turtle Island. Level 2 was easy, and the xp was good, but the jp was terrible. Still, change of venue, it was fun.

And today, Aine-chan, Kaori-chan, Jo-chan and Setsu came over, and we watched the PoT date episode and Pingpong. You know, I don't think Japanese school sports are really /this/ gay.

So I had been given a pair of headphones, which I can't really get used to, although I suppose they're okay for using when I go out. I did pick up earphones yesterday, though, so I can listen to Atobe's album in bed, alone, with earphones, when nobody else is around use my discman in bed. I had to make a new Atobe mix CD, though, because Jo-chan keeps taking mine. I labeled this one "suwabe junichi is teh sex", because I CAN. >D

Also, Tenipuri 10.5 has been translated into Chinese, and you can find copies in Kino. I previously underestimated the crack, this book really is a goldmine <3 <3 <3 I hope 20.5 comes soon, although I'm surprised they did 10.5 already. It must have been a lot of work. I mean, all that tiny text gives me trouble even in Chinese.

I'm hungry... there is no dinner in sight. Before you roll your eyes at me, I have an excuse! Because by the time I noticed that I was hungry, it was dark out and I didn't want to walk to J8. On accounts of it being dark out, and all. ...not that I didn't say that it was a good excuse.

I figure that if I get hungry enough, I'll see if I can make something that won't burn the kitchen down.

Aneki went back to Perth this morning. My mother called my room phone at 7-bloody-am in the morning to tell me to wake her and my father up. I'm REALLY NOT getting the logic of that one. >_>;; Made even worse by me only having gone to bed at 4amish the night before.

Let's see... went out with Aine earlier, where we obtained copies of Waterboys and Pirates of the Carribean, because Moriyama Eiji is supposed to be in Waterboys and we just wanted to rewatch Pirates of the Carribean. It's just as sparkly fun as I remember it being. Didn't have time to watch Waterboys too, but it's a region 3 DVD and my PS2 is region 1 anyway. >_>; Aine will watch it and give me the Moriyama Eiji report.

Then I went and watched The Last Samurai with my family, and just got back. It's not a bad movie, I guess, although I thought it was a bit pointless, although some bits were quite impressive. It was a pretty movie, hence kind of like CLAMP Does Japanese History, ie everybody dies in the end. I want to watch Peter Pan. Oi.

Me and Aine also had a long and rather bizarre conversation involving Fuji and whether or not he'd ever be able to carry on a normal relationship. I said sure, why not, I mean he can't have EVERY relationship of his being all wierd and warped anyway. She said that the only way he'd ever have a normal relationship would be with one of those Mary Sues that keep floating around the fandom. I said no, likely she'd just like, die of leukemia or something, and then Fuji would give up playing tennis forever, etc etc... it ended with Fuji entering a monastery at the age of 60. =DD And training NINJA TENNIS PLAYERS.

...I have this feeling I lost that conversation.
