Although some of the gameplay is slightly irritating.

My computer apparently hates everybody but me. Well, it kind of hates me too, but I'm used to its little idiosyncracies.

That is to say, my mother just managed to crash my computer by shoving the mouse. Everybody who touches it seems to make it crash.

So my scanner has, for some reason, decided to cut out. I didn't /do/ anything to it! I haven't scanned anything for ages, I only /meant/ to scan things, and it was working just a month ago and I hadn't touched it since then.

This displeases me. Especially since this month's DNAngel insert is a very nice colour Satoshi with wings, that can only be described with "mmm" and "Honey? What the /hell/ is that thing that you're holding?" and the cover of Asuka is Dark with half a Krad mask.

*kick* Stupid thing. I wanted to scan some stuff from the Loki artbook, too. (colour pictures of heimdall! colour pictures of heimdall!) Rar.

Anyway, it's over, it's over, tralala and all that. No school tomorrow and Friday because the tests are still ongoing, I just don't have any papers /then/, so I can take a break... not that I was really working very hard. This set of tests was like my exercise in "Hmm, let's see how well I can do after revising for most of my subjects for... maybe an hour of practice or so the night before the exams actually happen!"

Although I actually worked for Biology. Sort of. And Maths, well, it was... okay, I guess. I was suffering from severe brain drain at the time, by the second hour, I kind of stared blankly at the question (not even a really hard one) and couldn't muster up the will to start on it. I wanted to fall asleep.

And of course, I managed to figure out just /what/ exactly another question was asking 3.5 minutes before the end of the paper. Oh well. Won't go into Econs or Chemistry. All I want to do is make the grade to keep my subjects, anyway.

Although the fact that I've got a break the next two days might be a bit moot, what with Jo-chan making noises at me about a quarantine due to SARS until the 6th of April or so. I suppose, uh, even if schools close, I really shouldn't be kind of pleased for getting extra time off due to the outbreak of a deadly and virulent disease, though.

The liver is such a /boring/ organ. So many functions, and yet, it is a boring organ. It's kind of sad, really.

And the kidneys just killed me. This is Sec. 4 work. I should know this. And yet, I do not. The countercurrent mechanism does not quite go over my head, but its relation to everything else sort of does.

...argh. Homeostasis can go kiss off, I'm going to revise photosynthesis and respiration.

Went to Coffee Bean for dinner with Jo-chan and Aine.

Ordered salad with chicken.

Salad comes, randomly talk with Aine and Jo-chan, eat salad, get salad stolen, randomly talk some more, notice nothing amiss.

Jo-chan's salad comes. Peer at it for a bit, chew on own salad...

"...wait a minute, is my salad missing something?"

So it took me half a salad to realise that I didn't have any chicken. Feel like a moron for a while, then take it up with the staff, /still/ feeling like a moron.

"So, uh, you forgot to put the chicken in, and I don't know what you're going to do about it, because I've already eaten half."

And in the end, they gave me cake.

I don't believe I didn't notice! I feel like such a moron.

So I had the most /bizarre/ multi-part dream involving FFX and other things. One part had me dreaming that I was telling Aine and Jo-chan about the FFX dream. Very meta, really. And I dreamed that it was the blitzballs that allowed them to breathe underwater, and, well, /that/ makes perfect sense now. And there was a boat. With a telescope on it.

And the other part of the dream was KH themed again. With one of the most unlikely characters, /ever/, apparently being an ex-hooker. But he wasn't from KH or FFX, just something else I haven't touched for months. Still, ex-hooker.

I worry about my subconscious, I honestly, honestly do... but the entire concept of this seems so very hilarious now.

Dreams are only interesting when you're the one talking about them, so I'll stop now.

My speakers are getting ridiculous. I say this after having spent five minutes underneath the table messing around with the wires. The right speaker now has one of those heavy paperweights with a wedge for sticking paper into stuck onto the wire, to weigh it down, which is the only way I can get it to function. At least the left speaker is good.

So I watched some American Idol when I wandered over to the next room to bother my mom.

I have nothing to say about it, but the people SMSing comments that appear on the screen, they are just so damn funny. Especially the people sending completely unrelated notes of love on national TV.

...and we got the Chinese results back today. I passed Chinese. <3 And somehow got a merit for my oral, even though I'm terrible at speaking Chinese. And my friend who's a lot better than me only got a pass, and she was railing at the unfairness of it all.

Although GCE exam results are pretty inaccurate ways of noting how good a person is at whatever subject. There's always wierd and inexplicable results that people seem to get.

So I've been having all sorts of entirely bizarre dreams lately. Last night, it was a Kingdom Hearts crossover, involving keyblades and heartless and... such. Only... crossed-over. And... really, really wierd. It had a storyline! It was cool, if wierd.

Then this morning, it was a Buffy-related dream that I can't remember much of anymore.

I'd say that I've been playing too much Kingdom Hearts or watching too much Buffy, but I haven't touched either for ages. Maybe I've just been sleeping too much.

Woke up late this morning, consequently forgetting to bring along my Chemistry practical book, my test tubes, my Economics workbook, my Economics TYS... it was a bad day all round, really. Well, I managed to borrow most of what I needed, so I didn't get into trouble, but still... bad.

If I can't drop Chinese, I'm going to cry. Or at least throw a big sulk. Although Chinese this year has been a better experience, because the troublemakers have taken to skipping... uh, every lesson. On one hand, mostly quiet. On the other... yeesh, at least show the teacher some respect and show up for a reasonable amount of class.
