So the extended family function for Christmas was today (three days after christmas, yes, i know) and... well, nothing much of note happened. Got, in no particular order, ankle socks (/.../), stationery, a photo frame, and a voucher for Sports Connection redeemed from Singtel. The last from my cousin, who's a wierdo, but he's cool so I like him. He's also currently sporting the world's most ugly bleach job, but he did it himself, so I can't say anything. (or rather, there's nothing he could really do when i told him that he was sporting the world's most ugly bleach job, so.)

My other cousin, in Primary 3 this year, he got the entire His Dark Materials trilogy, which I went '...wah' at. And since I brought God Child 4 there to read, and since said cousin (who is 9) reads... I don't know, Pokemon or Digimon or somesuch, parallels were drawn. To which I went '... ...please don't let him read this.' at.

So I had fun, and my uncle kept giving me alcohol, until my mother made him stop. But I don't really get tipsy, so all's good.

I live! Not that I actually went anywhere.

We watched the new Ghibli film the other day, the one about the cats. It was great fun. Kind of like a Harlequin romance, only with cats. The Baron is very dashing and gentlemanly and I have a crush on him. *nod* But only because he's a cat, because he'd be no fun as a human, and anyway, humans aren't allowed to be that dashing and elegant and cool. Although I still think I prefer Haku.

School reopens next week. *sob* And I haven't touched my homework. In fact, I looked through my file, and couldn't actually find my homework. But I'm fairly sure I got assigned some. So.

Cosplay was fun, but the best part of the day, really, was going to see LotR:TT. *sparkle*

It was gorgeous and I really liked it, and the battle at Helm's Deep really /did/ go on for forever and it was really neat. Definitely going to watch it again.

So not only has the stop button on the remote control for my discman fallen off, the right earphone has decided to cut out, too. I'm thinking of never letting myself near portable electronics again.

Playing ToE again, 'cos Jo-chan wanted to. Well, technically, Jo-chan's playing ToE again, because I've lost my disc 2 somewhere into the ether, and she appropriated my memory card, so I can't actually do any playing myself.

She stayed over last night just to do that. I ended up sleeping on the couch next to her as she played until, oh, 3am or so, then we both went to sleep in my grandmother's room. Whee.

Also, I ran into Ling yesterday. She was taking the SATs at my school, and apparently didn't know that I'd been studying across the road from her for the entire year. Quite clearly, that is because she sucks.

SATs... well, apart from making me get up evilly early on a Saturday during the holidays, not that bad. Although by the second hour, I wanted to chew my own leg off to get out. Cognitive functions tend to shut down after the 2 hour mark, by the end of it, I wasn't even checking my answers, just... blah.

Then me and Kaori went to Karekano and I now have a Suikogaiden pencilboard. It's a nice pencilboard. And it has Nash on it, besides. <3 Got caught in the rain too many times to count today.

Kaori pointed out to me the Dias-throwing-apples scene in Blue Sphere. It's /priceless/. The entire scene is completely and utterly priceless.

Public service announcement! Loveless 1 and Spiral 7 are out, only no one reads Spiral, dammit, and I don't know how long Loveless has actually been out for. Hadn't been to CC for a while.

People should read Spiral. 'cos it's good. It also prompts one to wonder why all the cute guys are either taken, gay, or bipolar, but it's still good.

Also, I finally read the volume of Star Ocean: Blue Sphere that I snagged. New artist, but they do a pretty good job. Everyone seems to have been hit by the cute stick, and Leon shot up like a /weed/. And did he ever grow up nicely. XD Can't really tell what was going on (and can't check, 'cos someone took it when we went to watch harry potter), but it was cute. Ashton still has that Precis-crush, Celine is.. Celine... Leon is completely put upon by his teammates, and Dias spends most of his time going "...>.>". But that's okay, because the way he's drawn now, if he didn't spend most of his time going >.>, he would look like a girl.

I still can't get over how cute Leon grew up to be. I would layout a picture of him, just... because.

I have so many things to scan.

Went to J8 with a couple of books for company, and read half of Regina's Song while I was there. It's okay. Different from his other stuff, for sure, but it's not bad. And hey, no blue glowey object of unfathomable power anywhere in sight.

Then I got home just before it started to pour, so all's good. Almost literally, too. It was drizzling when I got to the void deck, but when I got out of the lift, it was raining really hard.

I had a dream about doing Math or Organic Chemistry, which made me feel guilty. So I... didn't do any actual work, but I did tidy up my notes and sort them back into their files. For some reason, I'm missing one or two of those files that I use to put my old notes, so... there's a problem there... and do I /ever/ have a whole bunch of Biology crap. And Chemistry crap, but even that pile's almost half the size of the Biology one. The Math is pretty hefty, too, but the Math resides downstairs, and is thus out of mind, and besides, it's big because it has RJ notes in addition to my own school's.

After that, I got started thinking about a random HP fic idea which is horribly, horribly evil. But sort of funny. But still really evil. I do want to do it, because it's just... such evil fun.

Hm. Aine's going away, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself. SATs this Saturday and I haven't done a thing to prepare or anything, 'cos I suck.
