But cosplay was fun, I think Aine was a bit freaked, maybe because I glomped onto the RKFC entourage and she didn't know anyone. X.x X.x TALK to them! They are nice and friendly people!

What was cool was that four out of five finalists in the cosplay contest were RKFC members. Playing, in no particular order, Sakura, Yuna, Miaka, and some guy from 3x3 Eyes. What was /not/ cool was that the non-RKFC member, Shishio, won, which would make it the SECOND time that a Shishio has beaten someone from RKFC in a cosplay. X.x I loved Sephiroth's coat, and she made it herself o.ox Whoa.

I will hopefully be Youzen at the end of this year. And might hopefully be doing a whole HE group. *V-sign*

VCD stands for video CD, and you can play them pretty easily on a computer. The player I use is a good one called PowerPlayer, I can't recall the URL where I got it off-hand... The easy-to-pirate format makes it very popular here. ^^;;x All my anime is in VCD format, actually. Tapes are nearly non-existent here now. Well, sort of. They're still useful for recording things off the TV, but when it comes to buying moviews and shows...

Fuuma and Seishirou isn't /that/ hard, I'd think... they can do kinky stuff with ice-cream, or something. Or exchange tips for dealing with their 'partners' which later devolves into a demonstration session.

...On second thought, maybe not. (But that 'sex across the room' comment made me choke.)

At least, Fuuma and Seishirou isn't nearly as difficult as Fuuma/Subaru, and if I may introduce the person whose VERY FIRST X fanfic was a Fuuma-Subaru 'fic... XD XD XD The first F/Su 'fic in existence, I'd believe. XD XD XD

Hooray for Friday, except that I have Netball Carnival tomorrow, and I /do not/ want to go. I'm planning on skipping off halfway just like everyone else, and dropping by the Heeren's for that AXN cosplay thing, probably see if I can find the RKFC people and glomp onto their entourage. Today, interestingly, didn't suck. English first block, had a bio practical test (for which I only had time to do the FIRST QUESTION, which is about half the paper. X.x) which was hard, but for everybody as well, so... and then had recess with Aine-chan, because Kaori-chan had first recess today, and watched a show about a deaf boy during Chinese, which was mildly interesting. Enough so that I didn't read DNAngel under the table for most of it, anyway. And I had to go for Math remedial after school. X.x When my last period was Math. X.x But it could have been worse, I guess. I've had days where I have both A and E Maths, then remedial, then I go home and have tuition, which totals up to roughly five and a half hours of various mathness.

I have a new file. Yay.

Somebody wrote a 'fic whenceby SSFK are performing Lady Marmalade. I think in accordance to the MTV. I thought it was funny, although I've been subjected to that song because, not to say a thing about my Red Cross friends whom I love dearly, well, sort of, whenever I hang around with them, I /will/ be forced to listen to pop radio.

And I've caught that MTV on TV before.

You know, Subaru singing "voulez vous couchez avec moi" is a surreal mental image which I'm not sure that I'll cherish for the future, but it's still funny. XD

I'm not laughing. I'm snickering. Very loudly. I still find it highly amusing. XD XD Don't worry, my dear, the archived 'fic will be the correct version, although if I'm feeling evil, I /will/ put up -that version-, and you won't be able to change it until you learn HTML and how to FTP. XD You know, knowing how to trip the circuit isn't much. I've managed to trip my house's power upwards of two dozen times within the space of a couple of hours. Blame my computer monitor, which is a piece of crud.

Murasaki, for the next tarot card, I'm guessing it's Nataku. Not because of anything deep and symbolic about the next card, which I haven't even a clue of (and I can't find my tarot book. X.x), but because of that strip of cloth you can see on the spine with the pictures of Kamui's mother and aunt. However, that isn't an accurate indicator of /anything/, because Hinoto's hair stretched... oh, eight, ten volumes? XD

They're not tapes.

They're VCDs, actually. *pause* You know what a VCD is, right?

(Not to insult your intelligence or anything, s'just that most of the people I meet from the other side of the world seriously do not know what a VCD is. I'm very amazed. o.ox)

Maybe I'm just biased, or something. The only /really/ bad thing is the animation quality, which is awful, somewhat akin to Weiss Kreuz, except that instead of bad guys dying bloodlessly, we get youkai exploding into a million pieces when they get shot by Sanzou's gun. Maybe 'exploding' is the wrong word to use. They... ... um... disintegrate. They turn bi-colour, and dissolve into dust on screen. No, I wasn't impressed.

And we also get Hakkai blowing people up with lense flare. /Lense flare/. Somebody help me. ;-;x

Saiyuki is good, really it is... Just that the anime, uh, isn't. Maybe it's just because I read the manga first. X.x

If you want the VCDs, I'll need an address and plenty of patience, as I pass it to my dad who will promptly put it in the boot of his car and forget about it, which is what happened to the /last/ package I tried to send, and I do believe that it's still there. It's also eight months late.

It's total and utter crap. And I /keep/ hearing Hakkai as Xelloss, but that would be my fault. And the animation is /so/, /so/ bad... It's even worse than Weiss, without the perk of good voice actors.

But the manga is good. Get the manga, if only just for that little shot of Hakkai looking scarily like Fuuma. Heck, if only for Hakkai in general. Can we tell who my favorite character is?

I'm going to fail my O level Chinese Orals, having screwed up /so/ bad. Like, very, very bad. I had to ask the examiner to repeat the question. Twice. Then even after they /did/, I stared blankly until one of them /explained/ the topic to me. Then I proceeded to screw it up. Then I proceeded to screw the second one up, too. Blank pauses, repeating... the SCHOOL one was NEVER this tough. And you can't re-take the orals, can you?

And then to make ourselves feel better, me and Aine went by Kino, and I had a brownie. Which /did/ make me feel better.

Then, on the MRT, I discovered that I LOST MY FILES. BOTH of them, my lyrics file and my blue school file. And also two volumes of DNAngel. So I got off at the next stop and went back to Orchard (did I mention that since I didn't bring my card, I had to pay for a 1-trip one /twice/?) and looked, but it wasn't at the MRT station or at Wisma, and I /know/ I took it out of Kino.

I'm praying that it's with Aine. Since I took all the loose worksheets out of my blue file, it's okay. But my lyrics file has my ochem notes. ALL of them. My SIO, discussion exercise, assignments, written notes... EVERYTHING I did on organic chemistry is in there. I can photocopy, but...

/Please/ say it's with you, Aine. I have /no/ idea where I may have left it. I think I'm going to go somewhere and cry now. Or at least sulk a little bit.

...I've finished that DNAngel 'fic. Well, bully for me. X.x I might post it. But it's kinda... bleh. First fanfic for fandom I got into four days, actually /finished/... X.x

D: I've been keeping up with his journal, but NO WHERE seems to have a copy of American Gods. Although I've only actually checked at various Kinokuniyas. I might try Borders, but I have a friend who's going to try see if he can help me get a signed copy. I don't usually think I'm better than any other writer out there, unless I've been romping through fanfiction.net--I guiltily confess that I started writing the Sapphire Key because of all the other very bad 'fics in the FF9 section of ff.n, although now that I see it, it's rather cruddy, too. Which is why a rewrite got started. X.x

It was actually Whitecat's fault I read Sandman, because I got intrigued by her Weiss/Sandman crossovers, which was just a little more than a year back. I'm missing quite a few of the Sandman tpbs, because they're /expensive/, but I read Good Omens (Crowley/Aziraphale slash? *blinks*) quite a long time before I got into Gaiman, since I was a Pterry fan, first. Any time I start feeling arrogant, I tend to stumble across really good 'fic, which puts me back in my place. Either that, or I reread Sakura and Snow again. ^^;x

I adored Smoke and Mirrors, especially '16 Cards from a Vampire Tarot', to the point that I contemplated illustrating one. But being not able to draw sucks. X.x

One day, or maybe two, after getting into the fandom in a screamingly girlish way, (Sa-to-shi-/kun/! Dai-su-ke-chan! Dark! XD) I am writing fanfic.

Actually, maybe it's same-day. Because I actually started this yesterday after reading through my manga again, tried to go to sleep, then decided to heck with it and grabbed notebookness and started writing.

So. Five/ten pages of crappy cliche DNAngel 'fic, depending on what you count a page as, and I've /only/ just finished up to the point where he lets a whiny Dark take over. During class. Silly, silly Daisuke.

...I am such a pathetic fangirl. Oh well, my notebook's small, at least. One quarter letterpad/A4 size paper.

I haven't a clue how to do a thing with this, to remove bad cliche. And breaking off because Bou-chan's /hungry/ would be /such/ an unromantic thing to do... In character, maybe. But muy unromantic.

Shut up, Bou-chan. You can't deny that it's in character. Or unromantic, for that matter.

Come to think of it, /all/ my scenes where characters go into the physical are cliched and badly overflowerized. Bah.

I read a little rant against authors making characters break off kisses due to asphyxiation problems. "They have noses," it said, muchly paraphrased, and I'm not /quite/ sure where I read it because I've been doing rather extensive surfing, and it was a little whiles back, "Use them. If their mouths are occupied, they can /breathe/ through their /nose/."

And that made sense. Truly, it did, and since I can't speak from experience, does anybody who's ever french-kissed before feel like telling me whether oxygen is a pressing need?

So I eyed the White Day ficlet, and felt guilty, while Bou-chan and You-kun went *niko* at the back of my head, because they were having /fun/, engaged in that liplock, /yes/.

But then if I let them continue kissing for very long, that would probably degenerate into something else that I am not even going to touch, and there's still a couple more pages of drippy sapness that I have to go through before they can do that.

So.

Bou-chan and You-kun /do/ have noses.

They just forgot.

And I really should work on that ficlet. Which I am /so/ not putting up anywhere. I've already embarrassed myself with that Star Ocean 2 fanfic thing down there, which makes a great deal more sense if you take it in context of Aine-chan's 'fic, which she should post.

No, I didn't die. I just went over to Jo-chan's, stayed over, and then met up with Aine-chan in the afternoon.

I got the Gravitation manga~ XD 1-8. ^^x Well, actually, /Jo-chan/ got them. But I borrowed it, so there. Aine-chan absconded 7-8, but do you want the rest, Kaori-chan?

The rest of the stuff I came away with after going to the manga stores at Jo-chan's house... Time Stranger Kyoko, book 1, E'S, 1-3, DNAngel, 1-4, HanaKimi 1... and I finally got my Star Ocean manga 1 back, so I can start translating it properly from the beginning. Leareth, I passed Tokyo Babylon 5 to Aine-chan, poke her for the translations if you need them.

And now, random typage up of stuffness written in notebook while on the plane. I didn't get to work on the 'fic because my mother was sitting right next to me, in case you're interested. :p

I ate airplane food. Someone please pump my stomach. All right, so it wasn't /that/ bad, but it's the principle of the thing, okay?

The cheesecake had, for some reason, potato peel in it. Maybe I missed something in the line of breakthrough cuisine, and this is some legendary potato and cheese affair, but potato peels belong on /potatoes/, and not in my dessert.

At least, I'm /assuming/ that it's potato peel, as seeing that it tasted, had the general consistency of, and the bit I examined /looked/ like potato peel. It could as likely be the emasculated remains of some unfortunate insect caught in the wrong time and place.

As long as it looked like potato peel.

I drank milk, too. 12ml of it. Meant for putting in tea, really, or coffee, if that's the way you swing.

Now, I normally wouldn't even touch the stuff, since it tastes like... well, milk. Which is, as the Bad Candy people pointed out, liquid you squeeze out of a cow's breasts, and willingly drink. Uh.

Although I still drink flavoured milk. Which doesn't taste like milk. Its origins, however, still remain the same.

And Singapore is a beautiful city from above, at night.

And yes, there really WAS potato peel in the cheesecake. I'm still wondering about it. I'm also wondering why I /ate/ it, because I don't, as a general rule, like cheesecake. :p

And then we went out again on Monday and met Tsukineko in the city (She's nice, too. *waves again*) and crashed at Leareth's place (which I did NOT wreck. XD) and went allll hyper on Murasaki in ICQ, except for Liz, who was very quiet. Leareth wouldn't take me to KFC. We all know whose fault this is. ;-;x Well, we went to KFC on the first night, but I didn't order anything, so it counts not.

I still have to work on the You/Tai/Fuu, but it has stopped kicking my brain, and is now much quieter. Maybe because I'm having way too much fun putting Yue in drag. ^^;;;x

My sister gave me ALCHOHOL! XD One whole bottle! XD Which is not much, actually, but alchohol! Makes! Me! Hyper! XD XD XD XD XD so I have an /excuse/ for being high. XD XD

I was playing Vagrant Story. I kind of like it, except I'm utterly /terrible/, can't string a combo for nuts, and haven't a clue how to defend. X.x And the way they walk make me laugh. For once, my favorite character in an anime isn't a) pretty, b) male, c) gay. But Ed rules. Anybody who can type with their toes, play a week-long game of chess, and willfully feed their comrades hallucigenic mushrooms /has/ to rule. I love her voice, her lines, and everything she does in the anime. X.x She reminds me lots of Delirium, who's one of my favorite characters in Sandman anyway, ranking right up there with Death and Dream.

The only thing she hasn't done is transform herself into a hundred and eleven perfect, tiny, colourful singing fish.

I like rainbow sprinkles.

You know, the type you put on ice-cream.

They don't really taste like much of anything with ice-cream, and without, they sort of taste like what I presume they're made of, i.e flour and powdered sugar. And they're shaped vaguely like hamster droppings, although I guess that'd sort of more be the chocolate sprinkles.

But they're CRUNCHY and NICE WITH ICE-CREAM and RAINBOW COLOURED. And they go good with butterscotch. Mm. Butterscotch. I like butterscotch lots, too, now if only I didn't typo it two out of three times. And vanilla ice-cream. Vanilla is a good flavour of ice-cream, unlike... chocolate. Meia doesn't like chocolate ice cream. But she adores vanilla ice cream with brownies. Mm, brownies...

...In other news, Meia was having much too much fun at the ice-cream dispenser in Sizzlers today. >D

So me and Kaori-chan and Aine-chan went over to Simlim and got a bunch of anime (Petshop of Horrors, CCS, and Cowboy Bebop), and we watched Gravitation 1 and 2, which was quite fangirl squeal inducing, especially episode 2 (KYAAAAAAAAA) and later Kaori had to go and me and Aine went to watch Cowboy Bebop because we heard lots of good things about it and there was that SCARY FILK by someone who shall not be named, and we liked it rather a lot. At least, /I/ did.

You /do/ understand, Frank, that this makes "Card Captor Spike" even MORE totally scary?
