My school admin is a bunch of pin-sucking idiots apparently bent on reducing my school to around the discipline level of a kindergarten or something.

Well, it's NOT going to work. >.<x Alright. I respect the fact that the school wants to move back to its more disciplined roots. I respect the fact that my vice-principal is no good at public speaking at ALL. But then I think that when they do something that affects the whole school, then there should be at least a good reason.

And if there's a GOOD reason, then they most certainly can EXPLAIN what the reason is to us! We're creatures of habit. Dumping us into new situations without so much as a "by the way, we're going to" is most definitely not a good thing to be doing. I refer to various things, particularly the amphi move, the school policy, (ugh) and the student log. Which I just think is a joke, anyway. To quote Ling, "We have a mission, a vision, a motto, a pledge, a creed, a policy, and now they want to give us a LOG, too?!"

Moving from the Amphitheatre to the carpark is fine, really. But then what /I/ don't understand is why the principal gave us a five minute speech on how the carpark used to be called the "parade square" and that they had held assemblies there blablabla when the reason that we'd ACCEPT would require only a thirty second explanation, namely that since there are fourteen sec. 1 classes this year, the Amphi just doesn't have SPACE! And what's with making us stand quietly for five minutes just because we weren't ready when they STARTED ASSEMBLY WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE WHATSOEVER? Are they /trying/ to make us into rebels or something?

Don't even get me started on the school policy. Even my /mom/ thinks it's ridiculous, which is saying quite a lot. /Every/ little thing, even the things that aren't our fault, seems to be something that we can get sent to detention or teacher counselling for. Good grief. "Tardiness is not meeting deadlines including handing in homework and not being punctual for school (includes remedial, make up lessons and CCA sessions) and school activities. 1st Offense-- Teacher counsels and warns pupil."

Like one needs COUNSELLING for... oh, I don't know... being caught up in a traffic jam or something? /Counselling/? It's not as though we come late on /purpose/, and if it was an accident or just bad luck, I entirely /fail/ to see the point.

You know, I could kill someone with a metal ruler very easily. ^^x *cough* Well, it's the /truth/... *grumbles* OKay, I'm just annoyed because it means that I can't bring my dagger ot school anymore. Blagh. You really have to read the damn thing to get a feel for how stupid it is. Someone ought to just /shoot/ them, and do the world a favour, or something. I have to see my vice-p on Monday, too >.<x No, I didn't do anything... my whole CLASS got roped into it, so I guess it's okay, since there's comfort in shared misery. From what I hear from the people who went on Monday though, it's supposed to be really stupid. ^^x
